ABM Abattoir Standards
The ABM Abattoir standards ensure the maintenance of assurance standards in the processing of animals into meat through abattoirs, cutting and packing plants.
The standard uses a Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) methodology for management of Equipment, Hygiene and Process Control and also includes extensive references to hygiene and other regulations along with arrangements for scheme traceability requirements.
